Magnotherapy

The Origins of Magnotherapy

The first mention of Magnotherapy was in China in 2500 BC in one of the first books ever written.  Huang-Ti (the Yellow Emperor) commissioned a book of internal medicine which mentions using lodestones and magnetic acupuncture needles for healing.

4½ thousand years later Chinese doctors are still using magnotherapy!

Records show extensive use of magnets between 2500BC and 600AD for problems such as bladder, female problems, wound healing, constipation, headaches and melancholy.

Cleopatra is said to have slept with lodestones on her forehead to preserve her beauty.

During the reign of Elizabeth I, around 1600AD, doctors prescribed magnets for arthritis in her back.

Magnotherapy Today

Despite some high profile and important applications of Magnotherapy, many people are still unsure of how it is used today.

Astronauts have benefited. NASA did some research and found that astronauts returning from the first space explorations had weakened immune systems and serious bone-density deficiencies, due to the lack of any magnetic force in space. Now astronauts' suits and craft are lined with magnets, which have been proved to protect them.

It now provides the basis for MRI scanners and magnotherapy is used in most NHS hospitals by physiotherapists to treat problem bone breaks, to speed the healing of ligament and tendon injuries and to ease stiff joints.

Magnets are frequently used on animals as well – horses in particular benefit from wearing magnetic horse rugs, boots and tendon wraps.

The Central Reverse Polarity (CRP) Magnet

Central Reverse Polarity (CRP) Magnet

The CRP Magnet is exclusive to Ecoflow.  Nigel Broderick invented the CRP magnet while developing a product to save fuel and increase the power of motor cars. To ensure the maximum magnetic influence on electrons, the CRP magnet is designed specifically to help move electrons. All matter that passes through a CRP field is subjected to the additional "kick" of three opposed directional forces. This action provides a better environment for molecular change by the alignment of electrons. In other words, molecules that exit a CRP field are more efficient. The CRP module's configuration also provides a field that is focused in one direction and shielded on the reverse, providing a more concentrated field.

How Magnotherapy Works

CRP Magnet Orientation

The human body is designed to heal itself and we all know that life is sustained by the circulation of blood which delivers oxygen and nutrients to every cell in our body. Without a sufficient supply of oxygen and nutrients and the efficient removal of toxins and other waste products, the body ceases to function properly.
Bioflow's manufacturer, Ecoflow plc, believe that applying a magnetic field to blood creates a corkscrew like turbulence. This increased agitation in the blood stream improves the blood circulation making hands and feet feel much warmer, helps prevent blocked arteries and regenerates damaged tissue more quickly. Users of magnotherapy products have reported reduction in aches and pains, an increase in energy levels and accelerated healing along with many other benefits.
